John Younker, DVM, MBA, is the Founder and Principal Consultant of VetLaunch, a veterinary consulting firm dedicated to helping clinics thrive. He previously founded and served as medical director of Common Companion Vet Co., which he launched in 2018. Under his leadership, Common Companion grew from a single de novo practice into two thriving locations serving eighteen thousand patients with a team of eleven veterinarians, a testament to Dr. Younker's commitment to building an exceptional workplace culture. In 2025, he co-founded another de novo practice in rural Georgia that grossed over $2 million in its first year.

Dr. Younker’s dedication to veterinarian wellbeing has earned him the prestigious 'Wellness in Practice Award' from the University of Georgia’s College of Veterinary Medicine, recognizing his significant contributions to advancing mental health and professional fulfillment in the veterinary community. He was also named to the 'UGA 40 Under 40' by the University of Georgia Alumni Association, an honor celebrating his outstanding leadership, service, and professional excellence.

In addition to his practice achievements, Dr. Younker earned his Executive MBA from Emory University in 2026, further expanding his expertise in business strategy and leadership.
